Asia Pacific (APAC)
The forming of the APAC Chapter started in 2009 and after nearly two years of hard work it was officially ratified in the first quarter of 2011. The APAC Chapter follows the same guiding principles as our parent being i.e.:

Promote ethical business practices;

Promote compliance with appropriate legislation within the region; and
-
Foster awareness of issues related to consumer protection and privacy rights within the background screening industry
Members of the NAPBS APAC Chapter will have access to all the benefits the NAPBS® provides its US based members.

Membership in NAPBS APAC gives you a voice and active involvement when you participate as a committee member on one of the many committees set up to achieve the association goals. APAC Region - Logo
Current APAC Chapter members may use the APAC Chapter Logo on their websites and on print collateral marketing materials. This logo is a sign showing your support of the industry, as well as your commitment to NAPBS APAC's goals and purpose. However, the use of the logo in no way implies any endorsement or certification by NAPBS APAC.
When using the logo as a hyperlink on your website, the logo must not link to any page other than the home page of NAPBS APAC Chapter site. Additionally, the logo is not to be used as a primary insignia for any company or organization other than NAPBS APAC.

APAC Membership Structure
REGULAR MEMBER- The rate is $500.
Regular Members are companies currently, regularly and primarily* engaged in the business of providing employment and/or tenant background screening services directly to qualified end-users, such as employers, or businesses. (Companies having multiple identities, subsidiaries and/or affiliates are limited to one Regular Membership.) Regular Members may vote and hold office.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER- The rate is $500.
Associate Members are companies currently and regularly engaged in the business of background screening but are not eligible for Regular Membership. Examples of Associate Members are providers of data, software vendors or other firms providing services directly to the employment screening or tenant screening industry, or firms deriving less than 50% of gross revenues from employment screening. Associate Members may vote.
AFFILIATE MEMBER- The rate is $150.
Affiliate Members are companies, individuals and other entities NOT eligible for Regular or Associate Membership but which support professionalism in background screening and agree to support and comply with NAPBS Purposes and Bylaws. Examples of Affiliate Members are attorneys, consultants, human resources or security professionals or insurance carriers. Affiliate Members are not eligible to vote or hold office.
