Background screening professionals within Canada have established an NAPBS Chapter in Canada. The purposes of NAPBS Canada are:

To foster professionalism and high business standards in the field of background screening in Canada;

To provide a forum for discussing, developing and advancing mutually agreed upon purposes of members in Canada;

To discuss, develop and advance learning opportunities and professional education in background screening.
Members of the NAPBS Canada Chapter will have access to all the benefits NAPBS® provides its US-based members.

The Chapter accepted Founding Member donations through December 31, 2012. As a Founding Member of NAPBS Canada, you will be recognized on the Chapter website and can display the Chapter Founding Member logo on your company website and printed collateral. The Founding Member designation does not expire as long as you are a member in good standing with the association. There is a onetime fee of $500 USD. Click here to become a founding member today.

Canada Membership Structure
REGULAR MEMBER - the rates are dependent upon the applicant organization’s number of employees as follows:
Large (101+employees) - $2500
Medium (51-100 employees) - $1800
Small Level 2 (13-50 employees) - $1000
Small Level 1 (12 or less employees) - $500
Regular members shall be companies regularly, currently and primarily (companies which derive no less than 50 percent of gross revenues from this source) engaged in the business of providing employment background screening directly to end users.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER - the rate is $500.
Associate members are companies currently and regularly engaged in the business of background screening, but are not eligible for regular membership. Examples of associate members are providers of data, software vendors or other firms providing services directly to the employment screening or tenant screening industry, or firms deriving less than 50 percent of gross revenues from employment screening. Associate members may vote.
AFFILIATE MEMBER - the rate is $150.
Affiliate members are companies, individuals and other entities not eligible for regular or associate membership, but which support professionalism in background screening and agree to support and comply with NAPBS Purposes and Bylaws. Examples of Affiliate members are attorneys, consultants, human resource or security professionals or insurance carriers. Affiliate members may not vote.
Canada Chapter - Logo
Current Canada Chapter members may use the Chapter Logo on their websites and on print collateral marketing materials. This logo is a sign showing your support of the industry, as well as your commitment to NAPBS Canada's goals and purpose. However, the use of the logo in no way implies any endorsement or certification by NAPBS Canada
When using the logo as a hyperlink on your website, the logo must not link to any page other than the home page of NAPBS Canada Chapter site. Additionally, the logo is not to be used as a primary insignia for any company or organization other than NAPBS Canada.
