The Criminal Research Provider Guidelines were created to assist Research
Providers by giving them procedures to ensure that they are conducting the most
accurate searches and obeying all local, state and federal regulations in the completion
of that work. The Guidelines were created by the Provider Committee of NAPBS. Those
who successfully complete the exam show due diligence and industry knowledge that
should be beneficial to their clients and the end-user.
