September 12, 2017: Hurricane Irma Update for NAPBS Annual Conference
We have received very good news from Orlando. The Gaylord Palms Resort is fully functioning today and the 2017 NAPBS Annual Conference is scheduled to go on!
Our host hotel(s) avoided any significant impact and therefore are ready to host the 2017 NAPBS Annual Conference. Orlando airports are beginning operations today as well and will continue to add flights over the next couple of days to regain full capacity.
While the hotel was spared we know that some of our members homes and offices were not as fortunate; our thoughts are with you as you recover and rebuild. If you are registered for the conference and not able to attend due to Hurricane Irma, please contact email@example.com. Our thoughts continue to be with our members and everyone impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Harvey.
The conference offers a diverse range of educational topics ranging from strategic business sessions, futuristic technology, legal issues, nuts and bolts "how-to" programs, international screening techniques, compliance guidelines, employment discrimination and what’s on the horizon for consumer reporting agencies, to name just a few. There's something for everyone - the industry novice, the seasoned expert and everyone in between. Every attendee will be able to take away valuable information and resources to benefit their specific business goals.
The Exhibit Hall will be packed with industry partners showcasing their products and services. This is your best opportunity to learn about the latest industry products to enhance your business. Also, interspersed throughout the educational sessions will be Vendor Demonstrations during which companies that supply products or services to the background screening industry can showcase their products or services.
Exhibit booths are sold out. Visit the Sponsor/Exhibitor Form and Toolkit for information about the remaining sponsorships.
All attendees must abide by the NAPBS Conference Code of Conduct and NAPBS Member Code of Conduct.
